A New Structural Analysis Solution Based on True Nastran Technology
Nastran FX is an integrated Finite Element Analysis program co-developed by NEi Software and MIDAS Information Technology. NEi Nastran FX provides advanced analysis solutions, such as nonlinear analysis, surface contact, and optimum design based on the industry standard of Nastran solutions. An efficient solver with an integrated pre/post processor developed by expert software engineers provides accurate results for advanced analysis and design.
NEi Nastran FX provides the complete FEA environment by seamlessly integrating pre/post-processor and solver. The FX pre/post-processor User Interface represents the latest FEA modeling technology with wide interface to different leading CAD systems as below.

Meshing capabilities include: free and mapped meshing on surfaces and solids, adaptive size control, element based re-meshing and manipulation functions, mesh grouping and management functions, material and property mesh grouping. Elements library consists of line, plane and solid elements as well as differnet connection elements like spring, damper, cable and contact elements with true surface-to-surface capabilities. Material definition with integrated Material Library can be used for the following material properties: isotropic, otrhotropic, anisotropic, hyperelstic, temperature, stress and strain rate dependent, creep and composite, nonlinear elastic, bilinear and plastic, with isotropic and kinematic hardening.
FEA solution is done by NEiNastran, which additionally can be controlled by NEiNastran unique Editor. Solution capabilities include all Nastran analyses like: linear and nonlinear static and dynamic, natural frequencies and mode shapes, transient dynamics (both modal and frequency), linear and nnlinear transient response, prestress and heat transfer, random vibration and response spectra generation. Modeling procedure including solution can be also performed using simple seven (7) steps from Analysis Wizard.

FEA post-processing and evaluation of computed results can be performed using different graphical representations like: deform/contour, iso-surface, slice, clipped asn vector plots. Contoured pictures can be animated with recording capablities.

Multiple results can be further handled using XY diagrams, results comparison from different solutions with interactive probe/query capabilities.
